Looks like they're polling people regarding speed enforcement, RLCs, distracted driving, cannabis, biking, etc.

Not sure there's weblink. Got the survey in email.

Sample questions:

How did you get this survey? Heywood did you get one? If the general public votes they will probably strongly agree with all unfortunately...then the government can say the people wanted it...

I got it as part of a Petro points survey so I can a discount on their stupidly expensive Ultra 94 fuel.

I think this it it:

This might be Alberta wide. I got the almost the exactly the same survey in my email from the city of Airdrie. Roughly the same questions. Probably trying to determine whether or not we get photo radar/more enforcement. I hope you strongly disagree to all :p

Yeah. I'll have to repeat survey from other IPs.

I haven’t got the survey. I don’t subscribe or use a Petro-Can point card either.

I might have it in the junk email box or one of my other email accounts that I give out when I’m forced to enter one. Keeps my normal one free of crap.

I might go look for it just to vote it down, but I agree, it would probably get pushed through.

The city bureaucrats are on a different page than the politicians.

I did the survey 3x.

What I find interesting is that there are no questions about how much over someone speeds. So to me that throws everything out of wack

Ex. A questions ask how often do u speed

With possible choices of

Always,often,sometimes,rarely,never

How I see they see it is speeding is speeding doesn’t matter if a person is going 1kmh over. So really the response for almost everything should be “often”

Also they gave no place for feedback

Example. They ask how effective are the intersection cameras. I put no not very effective. But I wanted to elborate. The highest collision intersections in Edmonton all have a redlight/speed on green cam

I also wanted to comment on how their photo radar is placed. Example 118ave and gretzky westbound there is a speed on green cam. But then they often place a photo truck after westbound. That’s a brutal practice

Lots of ppl getting nailed for 2 photo tickets on 170st across on 100ave since they are both 1 way streets and have a camera at each location. That’s a pure cash driven move

It’s a skewed survey.
