I was headed out to go to a meeting at a different location. Entered a freeway with light traffic at +15PSL (85/70) when my Redline starts peeping. Naturally I slow down to +4PSL and hang out in the right lane. A whole two miles later, I saw people hitting their brakes and merging to the right lane. Shortly after, there's a LEO in the median running Ka C/O. I decided I'd have a little fun this morning, and as soon as my Redline went silent (He was only shooting in one direction so it went silent after about 500ft), I downshifted 3 gears, merged left, and floored it. All of the cars that slowed to -10PSL for the cop just got passed by me doing double the PSL :roflolmao:

I'm sure they had quite a WTF moment!!

I don't know where you're located, but the majority of LEO's running radar have both front and rear facing antennas. This gives them the ability to track/get a reading on traffic receding from (or behind) them. All it takes is the touch of a button on the remote. Don't floor it till you are out of the line of sight, or you could be in for a nasty surprise.

I'm aware of that, my dad is a State Trooper! But I considered the fact that he still had traffic behind me to focus on, so it was not likely for him to turn around and start running behind him.

For context, he was on the oncoming traffic side, parked slightly into the median, with the front of his car facing towards my side of traffic. He'd have to break his neck to look back! :D

I do, but not for things as stupid as flying past a LEO at 100+mph :D I would surely get it reduced and of course it depends on the officer.

If my Redline-O didn't false to mobile K band, I'd still be running her on a daily basis. No, not as good as the Uniden R series, but not so far behind that I'd have to worry much. I prefer the ER or BEL sound and workmanship ( build quality of unit). The EX just doesn't have the oomph of the Redline-O. I'm surprised that you can run a Redline original in a metro area?
