I was traveling north on I-91 when I caught up to a VT State Trooper, not a peep from the V1. As we approach the medium cutover he flips on his K-band radar. This guy was hoping that someone on the other side would be speeding so he could flip around on the cutover and make the stop... which happened. Lights came on and everyone behind him has to slow drastically so he could make the turn then cut in to southbound traffic.

I had the dash came running but forgot to lock the recording. Needless to say, I slowed a bit as I approached these spots from that point on.

K band from VT SP? wow, I've only seen 35.5 from the Staties the past 12 yrs. (lots of locals use K though)

I’m 95% sure it was K but now you have me doubting myself. It was definitely SP.

Regardless, you need to be aware of K band in VT. I've personally seen 24.209 from an unmarked pickup with a customer on Route 4 (between Killington and Bridgewater)

I used to drive the length of I-91 twice a month, but haven't been on it nearly as much lately.

Surprised to see I/O in use. Do they usually run Ka C/O? I will definitely keep an eye out my next time through.

I was surprised by the I/O given the terrain, too. It was a pretty aggressive tactic in all. If this is how they do it in VT it would explain why all the locals drive the PSL.

Nooooooooooooooooo, most of them drive below the (absurdly low) speed limits. Stopping at stop signs seems to be based on a coin toss however.

VT is very nice this time of year. I don't see much enforcement at all. Some of the best cruising roads in the East, IMO.

Okay, I forgot V1Driver drops pins (duh)! I found the alert and it was definitely K band. If memory serves me right, this is the alert a bit south of Exit 5. I show only one Ka band alert the rest of the ride on 91 and it was a blip. All the other K band alert were not near a cutover.

Yikes, 24.206 is high and in the area many cars with BSM system false to. Having good ramp up would be the only way to tell between a true alert vs a false. But in this case I/O doesn't help.
