I had a customer call today from Michigan. He said he's been hearing that the 9500ci shifters are no good anymore, and asked if I knew.

I explained the newer vpr guns will have no problem with punch thru's especially at close distances.

He asked if those guns were used in his state. I have no idea, anyone from that area give me any information to help him?

thanks in advance

if he does need to upgrade, he can use either the TMG'S or the ALPS but it would have to be seperate systems meaning it does not pare with the 9500ci rd?

Which ones does this customer have , the LSP or the ZR4?? Neither is particularly effective anymore against newer lidar.

I believe the ALP RG2 module works with the 9500ci: www.bestradardetectors.net: ALP Radar & GPS Module (RD Module)

Why not update to something with usable K band filtering though?

Edit: The link above appears to be the original RG module, which still shows as being in stock at BRD. I can't find the RG2 module on BRD or ALPUSA, but here it is on KMPH: www.kmph.ca: RG Plugin Module v2.0 for AL Priority Radar Add-on
i just wanted to answer his question 1st, then move in to stepping up his game some.
Since it's an install not sure he would want a remote

I have read reports on here that the Dragon is lurking in the Detroit metro area. In my driving around Northern, Mid, and West Michigan, LIDAR is very rare. In those rare instances that I have actually seen officers using LASER they were using the LTI 20/20 TruSpeed.
