If you're driving I-40 beware of AVR just west of Forrest City. Nothing posted on Waze yet that I can see. Screenshot_20180712-082037. Screenshot_20180712-082004.

There you go! your setup is working like it should :) Now if you wanted to be really nice you could comment on those waze pins that it is speed enforced by aircraft trap

If you want to help folks add some comments to the waze pins to warn folks in the area... if you really wanted to get fancy you could use a GPS spoof app and trick your phone into thinking its at the first vascar line and launch Waze drop/maintain a police pinat the first vascar line to slow folks with waze down... thats what I do in FL, I drop pins with a comment that Says " Speed trap here!! Speed enforced by Aircraft! Slow down now!" at/ just after the first vascar line so folks get a heads up before they have passed the measurement point, it does seem to save some folks.

So did your PiAware device pick this up / alert you somehow? Or was it an email/text notification that made you open up and look at the flight map?

So Google Maps shows 2 Vascar lines going westbound. And they're not that big either. Just a couple of dashes really.

The first is right next to the 239 Exit sign, and the other one just before the AR-1 overpass.

    Vascar line 1.

    Vascar line 2.

I used the Google Measuring tool and it is 1335 feet. At 100 mph that's only 9.1 seconds to cover both lines. And it'd be pretty easy for traffic to obscure those lines as they're rolling along too. Even if you were looking for them (forget that!) you might completely miss them.

    1335 feet.

That explains a little of the flight path. They are also on the east bound side starting at the L'Anguille River and ending at the rest stop.

There's actually more on the west bound side. They start east of Industrial road and end just west of AR-1

What I can tell is that the starting and ending lines are shaped like a "T" with the base of the "T"s pointing toward the other lines. I'm assuming this helps direct the pilot in the right direction. See attached. Screenshot_20180712-201421.

Oh nice. Yeah you're right, the circling was further along most of the time.

I've just spent the last couple hours looking at the flight activity logs for Missouri State Highway Patrol, since I'm often in Missouri. They LOVE their aerial enforcement up there! N81MP holy crap they're active. N92MP less so.

Funny....I was just about to post that I am almost sure MSP was doing some of that today on I-470 near KC. Went through this on my way to work around noon today. I really need to figure out how to setup my flightware app better because its not working as it should....I may have to hit you on a PM later on :)

Yeah sure thing, PM me if you need. I actually just set up notifications for N92MP & N81MP very late last night, but they seem to be working because this morning the text alert for N92MP returning to Jefferson City JEF airport (from what appears to be search operations related to the early morning shooting at Ava High School edit: nevermind that's old news. Their nighttime loopdiloops were over MO-5 near State Hwy A in Ava, MO about 5 miles south of the shooting location).

    Ava.
