I think we're going to be pretty much on our own with the GT-360. I think there are only a few GT-360s out there right now and maybe a few more than that thanks to the Rakuten and eBay promo codes.

Our GT-360s and the GT-7s are the only Beltronics units that have needed DT in a LONG TIME.

Did you completely un-install the Escort version(s) of DT and DT Pro before trying Beltronics BT?

My GT-360 comes in tomorrow. I'll share what I experience then.

Yes I uninstalled. I'm 2 hrs from Columbus. If I can't get anywhere on the phone, may have lunch at City BBQ and darken their vestibule @ Ecort.

    Compatibility mode doesn't help.
And getting this message every now and then.

I don't have permissions to view that attachment and I sure hope it doesn't come down to having to go to the main office! I've already un-installed everything from Escort and installed Beltronics DT in wait for delivery tomorrow. I'm expecting to plug in the detector and be able to upgrade the FW w/ no hiccups!

Darn it, I thought they were in Columbus. I would have been a nice ride but, they are in west chester. 3 1/2 hrs not 2 hrs.
2 hrs is a quick trip, 3 1/2 X two would chew up the whole day.
I'll be on the phone LOL.

Great! Let me (Us) know what happens.
I called support this morning. Gave them 15 min so they could get their coffee and settle in... (They open @ 9 am) The support tech listened to my issues and put me on hold for a few min, he then said I’m going to have to get our specialists involved. I’ll call you back. Have a nice weekend.
I’m hoping he was just being congenial in the weekend statement and it wasn’t a subtle way of telling ‘don’t hold your breath’ you’re not getting a call soon.
Manually programmed it this AM and going out for a ride. Took quick ride last night and in its default mode it didn’t register any of the stores I drove past.
Then I’ll go back to figuring out how to make a visor mount for it. A magnet, some epoxy and a little filing should get me going.

Update: Hour ride past shopping center s and drug stores.
It's not as sensative as the R3, which I expected, some of the displayed frequencies are different compaired to R3, 950 AND the auto lock outs aren't working. Thought if it saw same source 3 times it would lock out?
Went round the block 5 and 6 times. Version 1 FW.

Update: Called ecort back and they said uninstall All software and install detector tools pro. Trying it now.

    Update : Don’t bother updating.
VER 1 is the current version.
They didn’t update the filtering as they felt it wasn’t necessary. And if you have an iPhone the detector doesn’t show up in BT until you log into the Live, hit the settings gear and press devices. Select GT-360 and connect.
He put me on hold and restarted the phone three times. I figured it out while he had me on hold and was sharpening pencils or whatever you do while the customer is figuring it out for you. I’ll give him the benefit of it being a new detector that they haven’t sold many of and he probably has little or no experience with.
And the reason the lock outs weren’t working earlier? He said I didn’t have the software connected to live. I was under the impression you didn’t need Live for auto lock outs??
