Wow, haven't seen and old one like that in a long time! If it works, it's probably a great buy for someone who wants to dip their toe into testing.

Print this onto a sticker and put it on it and you’ll have yourself one hot marine gun.

There is one thing worth pointing out here. Buyer beware. They're charging $50 for shipping. That makes this $80 gun become $130 USD.

Has a lot more features than the most basic sports ones today, which cost more.

They have a number of them for sale and I bought one. Fired it up and it instantly started displaying speed readings, even when I pointed it into dense forest. I sent it back and they refunded my money. I do have to say, the gun was in incredible condition with barely a scratch on it and it came with a tuning fork and waterproof case.

Did the tuning fork work, out of curiosity?

Only buy what’s currently out there now in use. All the old stuff is discontinued or no longer repairable.

I would bite on old stuff if its cheap enough. Plus I could tinker with it. There are a few ancient units still in service to this day.

Yes, the tuning fork read dead-nuts accurate at 50mph, however, I would put the tuning fork down, point the gun into the woods and it would randomly read 51, 37, 44 and 07?!?!?!?!?!?. the gun is not supposed to be able to display speeds of less than 10MPH and that was the end of that. Decatur Genesis II 35.5 on order.

Haha yeah, I figured it might be like that. Weird.
