Well unless you get an actual go kart I don't think your car can get any smaller. If it doesn't work for you everyone else is screwed.

Interested to see the results about their claim against DragonEye. I'm still skeptical after the initial release debocle

I believe you are correct related to 4 heads. I am going to strip heads from another ZW5 system I have and add to at least one to current install. See how they act on road. Est. Completion, two weeks before I get to it. Will let you (anyone) know how it works if they PM me.

I agree.. when Vortex is out here In Midwest, close by ER (150mi radius) many ER installers. Although, I have not found any to my liking yet. Did the ZW5 deployment myself. I am sure one of them are good, and have agnostic manufacturer view.

Yep... which is not a bad idea. However, others who are not advanced members, but are not LEO snitches would like to experience (be invited) this non public posted valuable information. :)

I was told by ER there is ZW5 update (from my devices installed ver.). However, hard to get whatever the update when Pro version of update tool (which is used for EX, ZW5 and others) won’t see it. Will be testing the tool again this weekend. De-install version, install same rev level on web site, and Shazam, mystery fix. That happened with the RL EX before. Mystery fix when installing a newer dated update tool file with what looked like same ver.

Just installed my ZW5's. Do you guys believe I put the heads in the correct area? Do you think I'll have any problems with this system? If any tester out there by Delaware, please let me know. Would love to see if this laser shifter works good.

With your current install, you will be vulnerable to guns like the Truspeed S and Stalker XLX/RLR variants because the heads are too close to the center of the car. You will need to move them out towards the headlights. This should be a relatively easy fix given your grill design.

It still won't jam all of the Dragoneye variants even with an ideal install due to limitations of the product.

You've got some serious issues for where you drive + the physical mountings.

Delaware(Maryland, too) uses DragonEye lidar guns which is a serious threat to your installation.
Only 2 transponders against these guns are worrisome at close range. You need to do a much better alignment of them so they are pointed straight ahead & bubble level, not toe'd outboard like your Driver transponder is.

You can get what you paid for them or close to it on ebay and buy a alp or tmg system. Escort has been banning users on thier forums, even good people I knew for trying to even post videos of thier laser shifters products in action.

This is where I positioned my countermeasures. I tried to get them halfway in between the center of the vehicle and the outer edge of the headlight on each side if that makes sense. Straight ahead and level with the road.

In addition to the good advice previous, dump the artsy plate. You are ucky like us, do not have to run front plate. With your shiny object, all nice, flat rectangle, easy target. And helps defeat the shifters, IMO.
