Radar Disconnect Message

    Sure we could delay anything but the easy solution is not always the best one. If the DSP is taking more than a second to scan than that can also mean maybe a possible missed I/O hit. There is a delicate balance between filtering and timing and we are working to see if we can get the DSP to scan faster because we are working on improving filtering but we don't want to give up performance so we have to find a way to filter faster and stick within that 1 second window.

    Glad you're not taking the easy route with filtering like some other manufacturers have done, i.e. slowing down the scan / response time.

    That makes alot of sense. My profile A has all the filters on and I get disconnect errors galore. Profile B I turned off traffic filtering and I have zero disconnect errors.

    Thankfully, in town where I spend most of my time I dont need traffic filtering.

    Had a good run from NY to Maryland and back. Plus some travel around Maryland. Only two two disconnect messages in total over the course of 3 days.

    Spoke to Tom prior and decided to “tweak” the settings. Made a huge difference and happy to share what I did. Mainly reduced the rear antennas bands and filtering. Left front antenna the same. Running BETA firmware Tom sent over to me.
