Those are MRCT cameras, same units in Chicago and NYC. I did testing on them with the Pro M and included a good bit of info on them. That post is in the testing section.

If anyone in the US is running a Pro M or RC-M I recommend using MRCT and MRCD narrow with MR Filter on High. That will pick up these MRCT cameras without issue while giving you the best filtering performance. Cameras will be detected as MRCT, but MRCD needs to be on as well.

My NRDSP identities them as MRCD... interesting if MRCT.

Looking into your post on the test(s)

That's because, from my understanding, it will only report such threats as MRCD. Rather than make it confusing to the user with various bands, filters, and settings it's just a lump sum alert and toggle switch in the settings. The platform picks up both, but simply alerts to MRCD either way.

Thanks, good to know... especially if and when I drive to MD area again to enable. Waiting to know if they will enable speed sensing when going through the light under Green and going above a % MPH to get you that ticket. Heard of them doing this with road sensors of past.

I'll be back near DC, and to Pax River via Annoplis again in a week. I will keep my eyes peeled for these, and take pix/location for posting if I find them.

MultaRadar (MRCD) is being used in Alexandria, Virginia with their red light cameras; especially, the Old Town Alexandria area such as Duke Street.

I have personally seen a few of these in Alexandria during the past 45 days. Wasn't in a good situation for pix snapping--but they were there.

I know this is a little late to the party, but a couple months ago, I was driving down I-81 just sound of Hagerstown, MD. There was a massive construction zone that led into West Virginia, and there were signs everywhere saying "Speed Limit 55, photo enforced." While driving through the construction zone, I came across two Explorers, both unmanned, and one had it's hood open with a large antenna of sorts pointed at traffic. I wasn't running a detector that trip, so I don't know what it was transmitting on, but could this have been some sort of Multa Radar? It was most definitely some sort of photo radar enforcement.

I wish I could have taken a picture of it, because it was one of the most ridiculous-looking setups I had ever seen.

Without pictures who knows what it was. But given that was in MD, I would think it's most likely Poliscan units. Mobile MultaRadar do not usually utilize open tailgates.
