    Hi all,

Just wanted to post something of a public service announcement, and apologies if it has been posted here before. I searched and searched and finally found the answer, so I hoped to maybe save someone else a lot of time if they're new to Valentine One.

I couldn't get the V1Connection app (the native one made by the company) to work with my bluetooth dongle and iPhone. I knew the dongle worked because my V1Driver was able to connect, and that's the only thing that kept me from sending the dongle back for a replacement.

If you're also having issues getting the native app to work, make sure that you do not also have V1Driver or another app running at the same time. I uninstalled V1Driver, changed the settings on my V1 with the native app, and then reinstalled V1Driver -- and everything works flawlessly now.

Hopefully this helps anyone who might be struggling to connect their bluetooth dongle to their phone.

You dont have to reinstall V1Driver, you could just disconnect it from bluetooth.

You can’t have any two apps trying to interact with it at the same time. I don’t know why, but the Bluetooth icon in V1Driver is nearly invisible. But if you tap it, it turns off the Bluetooth for V1Driver, allowing you to then fire up V1connection or whatever else.
