I CANNOT figure out how to get the multi alert box on the left sidr of the display to function.I have tried.............

I'm running ADV, which shows on the right side. Then the center is pulse. And left side is MPH.

    I'm sure it's simple, bit----maybe I am as well!

Can someone most kindly give me the steps to enable multi alerts? I do have All Alerts set to ON.

    Thanks in advance!

It will only show up when more than one signal is present.

Yes, of course! I've actually had occasion to sit in local LEO parking lot, with 4 guns on Ka..........

Thanks all-- I've had All Threat ON for weeks---no joy.

Wondering if a reboot might solve it.

I don’t have an R3 so I don’t know, is there a turn GPS off setting? That’s what you’re trying to do I think is not display that when there are multiple alerts.

Have you done a factory reset as the first step?

I would reload the firmware and do a factory reset.

There is a setting to disable GPS on the R3, but this would not effect the functionality of All Threat as it is just displaying the number of signals it is detecting.

Not to sound like I am talking to down to you at all, but are you absolutely positive that you have been in the presence of multiple signals at the same time? I also owned my R3 for quite a while and never saw (noticed) the All Threat box. I even posted on here about it at the time. I finally dialed all my bands to 100% and turned on X band while I was sitting in a shopping plaza and my All Threat immediately came up and was maxed out with two separate X band alerts and one K band alert.

Factory rest couldn't hurt. Remember All Treat is off by default.
Instead of local LEO lot try shopping center doors for multi threat testing.

What about speed muting? Does that hide alerts based on your speed setting? I would post your settings so we can understand what’s going on

    - You sure you have that right ? My R3 displays the speed on the Left AND then changes to All Threat when multiple signals are detected.

Your are right, what I meant to say is, when driving with the speed displayed (with my car my speedo is hard to see with the wheel tiltled down) and all threat on, when you get an alert the speed is then overlayed with the alert info. So when that happens, my ask was for the speed to continue to be display when an alert is received so I can see my speed at specific time. Hope that makese sence.

    Thanks to all:

A factory reset fixed the issue.I had even gone back and followed Vortex's early video setup-- no luck.

I had tried everything recommended--strange things was that I had returned my original R3 for low Ka sensitivity--it ALSO wouldn't "seem" to indicate multiple alerts--they replaced it with one which at minimum equaled my RLO.for Ka range.

But a factory reset IS what solved the multi-alert display problem.

    Thanks again, to all.
