For around 3 weeks, TXCTG has been testing the new TMG (Taiwan Microwave Group) Laser Jammer system. I just completed a full install today with my brother in law,of a triple dual diode system on my 16 Focus ST.

(Dual diode are pre production prototypes)
6 diodes in the front :)

I will be heading to Houston for the next Laser shoot out May 20th.

Stay tuned for announcements on the release date, performance, and full public review.

Nice! Good to see it installed in your car now. :)

Could you share more about the dual diode design? What are the benefits of having two? Is one rotated 90 degrees?

Having a controller in the car like that reminds me of when I used to run the HP-905 and I had my control box in my cabin too. Are they planning on making a tiny remote controller and alert LED for the production version?

Dual diodes emit in a + pattern. The first single diode heads,i recieved are also very good performers.Dual diode heads were tested against the tougher VPR guns. A remote kill switch is in the works for production,so you can tuck away the CPU.

I can't wait! I'm hoping for good results in a unit I can afford. Features and specs of the production units are much anticipated. At the price ranges initially discussed in the other thread I might be able to have units in more than one car.

Small remote display or your smart phone option is available right now. Same with GPS option. Single diode is killing it with VPR guns with only 2 single diode heads....and of course 100% with all others in the wild.......dual diode provides wider sensitivity/Brut Force response.....
Am told a remote kill / power on off switch will be included.....Unit is well built quality...nice....sound is quality as posted in earlier post in advanced.....Just fyi CPU can have up to 5 heads...
Nice install @Jag42
Jag are you running this weeks firmware? Curious if the 4 seconds JTK is active yet?

Can you imagine those arrows and integrated with JBV1? Sweet huh for the V1 boys.
Or integrated with Escargot Drive for the Escort kids? :)

can have up to 5 heads...
Curious how rear installs would test as well once initial bugs are worked out..

I just completed a full install
Any reason for the Deep V install and not keeping them on the same plane? Is the middle sensor moveable to on top of the plate to test location difference as well? I know this isnt a TMG vs competitor but the Deep V is a struggle for other systems and latest guns...

@schissler Well the angle shots should do well.....think Fudd shooting down from overpass.....as the + coverage these heads deploy seem to do well with off axis shots....Houston Shoot Out will provide more detail to work with....What applies to other technologies and methodologies to defend/shift do not apply here. Apples vs Oranges....so head placement TX/RCV and all that do not apply here. What you want here is coverage.....coverage of the target....2 head single diode heads are have done well against DET/VPR already.

Very nice. Control panel looks decent when tucked away like that.

Remember these are dual diode in the "V" shape, I don't have to worry about VPR guns in my area. I might have to buy a new grill after Houston...ha ha
