Ok so I use a 10 second delay on the V1 itself for K band mute logic. In V1Driver the “AutoMute After” setting tip says “this delay is beyond K-mute delay” but doesn’t specify when it starts.

Basically when does the timer start? If I set this to 14.0 seconds will it AutoMute 4 seconds after my V1 starts alerting again after it’s own 10 second delay? Or does the 14 seconds start after the 10 second mute timer ends for a total of 24 seconds from initial alert?

The later, that would be 24 seconds in your example.

Ok cool, I only asked because it seemed to mute after 4 seconds on me yesterday, so it seemed like the timer started from the initial alert. But it must've been something else. And then when I read the tip it made me wonder, that's why I wanted to make sure.. Now I know, Thanks!

10 seconds is waaaay too long if K-band is a threat in your area, regardless. I have mine set to 3, but I wish there were a 1 or 2 second option. Enough to keep it quiet for Savvy mute or lockouts but not enough to cause a brown-pants moment when the County boys roll up around a curve running K.

PS Great question, though.

I use different profiles for different areas I drive though...
