I’m pretty sure we have a good idea of how they will do but I’ll be anxious to see the numbers because I still have an LI triple on my duramax! What guns are you testing against?

My bet is JTG or nearly so on CPR guns, DALA - probably sketchy but likely enough time to slow down, DET guns - worthless, TSS nearly worthless.

If all of those are included, that is.

Absolutely nothing wrong with anything ZR4, HP 905, LI or newer if you only see CPR, just need to make sure you have the coverage.

I thought it fun to just see where us LI guys stand these days .....We have no VPR guns around me anyway.....but we will shoot my setup with a few just to see.

8.20 will not alert no jam to newest version of det
8.18 will alert and try to jam vs det
4 sensor at fron with 2 differents cpu and 8.18 jam for a few second a newest det
once the cpu got temperature .. you will get a PT

I know of continues pulse rate guns, and digital alley (dala) variable pulse rate guns. But what are DET and TSS guns? Thank you in advance for helping someone that is always learning!

DALA is Laser Ally
DET are Dragoneye guns: DESL is Dragoneye Speed Laser (full size gun), DETC is Dragoneye Compact (compact version)
TSS is LTI Truspeed S
TS is LTI Truspeed

Cool thanks!

Why would the LI have terrible with LTI truspeed guns? I think I remember jamming those with my old escort zr3.

When I had my 8.20 on my cars, I had no issues with LTI guns. Just the Stalker and the angry dragooooon

@The Only Sarge. I'm in a similar situation. I moved to Old Lyme, CT and the only lidar I see is a Kustom Prolite+, which I hear is very easy to jam. So I don't have a need to upgrade to ALP right now.

Since I am still running the LI it would be nice to know how it stands up against the newer guns. Thank you for doing this testing! It is still of interest to some of us :)

Truspeed S has a difficult algorithm. It'll even occasionally punch holes where the DET guns were fine. It's a unique gun that definitely needs testing if it's used in your area. A proper ALP setup will kill it no problem, but you need to test to make sure your setup is proper in 99% of cases.
