Shouldn't be an issue. Just don't mount the RD on top of it.

Have never had a problem with my 300 watt linear that does all mode (AM,FM,USB,LSB and CW) or my VHF and UHF analog/digital running 50 watts messing with my RD. Am running all my radio gear off a separate battery thru a battery isolator too.

No issues as long as the Palomar is a real one and not a cheap knock-off without any band pass filtering or band tuning IE the knock-offs spray all sorts of out of band frequencies besides the known odd numbered harmonics all Linear Amplifiers produce. Make sure you have proper grounds, a good antenna with a 1.2 or less VSWR match plus proper ground and ground plane (Wilson 1000 mag mounts makes a great antenna for mobile Ops running a linear as long as it is mounted directly to metal IE no towel or shammy between roof and magnet), and good connectors and proper length jumper cables so they don't act as radiating antennas, and 1500 Watts will not mess with your RD. I have run 1500 watts on AM, FM, and SSB on 10 Meters without any issue of setting off my Valentine One or affecting its ability to detect. Remember 11 Meters is from 26.965 to 27.405MHz and the first US Radar Band "X" starts at 10.525 GHz, plenty of separation and no resonance multiples.

If you do see issues, you have a problem with the install and need to trouble shoot it. Changing out all the PL-59 connectors to N Type can do wonders for mobile interference problems.
