Anyone know how long one stays in the system? Not a citation but a printed warning. Asking for a friend. ;)

@v1user ?

I want to say 7 years
Who knows it could be indefinite
But theyll be subject to write another warning after maybe 3 years

I know i hadn't had so much as a warning for 9 years
And the trooper still wrote the +17 ticket
Didnt reduce it
Automatic court date

My uncle said they don’t keep a record of warnings. At most it will go to their supervisors that’s about it.

I know the old days they did not keep a record of warnings as they were a manual white copy. Now with the scanners they are printed out the warning on the scanner receipt without the speed printed on it. Lidar IPTs really suck but "my friend" got stuck in one of the known "nightmare" scenarios for any jammer out there that results in IPT. Bagged by the XLR at 19 over but saved by the "be nice and respectful to them and they will be nice to you" lucky day. :)

Did your friend have his RD on? Or was he hit with laser?
V1 with ALP but at the nightmare scenario that can result in IPT. And that's all I am going to say about that scenario...

Way late on this but here goes.
Don't know about how long warnings remain in the system.
Disregard post.
TRC 702.004 does not state anything about warning citation becoming an actual citation.
Sorry for any confusion.

Happened again. Daughter got a warning doing 87 MPH in a 75. Told her she better behave because next time will not be a warning. LOL
