Cars beautiful it just loses so much value off the lot
And the Hp boost isnt enough to justify the near 50k price tag

In my area you can buy a stripped 2yr old GT with 17k miles for 25k
Id much rather take 5-7k and install a Supercharger

Thanks Kenny56, I never was a Ford fan growing up, just GM, but after buying my Mustang (not the avatar one) I was impressed and recently bought an Explorer.. Here is a picture of my 2012 Shelby. I did my own stage 2 upgrade last spring.............very quick! October 2011 (3).JPG

How do you hook up with the damn thing? My Boss 302 spins all the way through third gear unless traction control is on, and that is on raw motor.

Good tires! And make sure they're warmed up. Once the OEM Eagle F1 tires wore down I got a set of Bridgestone S04 Pole Position tires. Big improvement. The F1's were good tires but the BS were that much better. Make sure the air pressure is accurate (see door post label). I had a friend who bought a new Viper (last release year) a number of years ago and he ended up hating that car saying that every time he took it out it would spin and slide out all the time. At the end of the summer he sold it at a big loss. After talking to him it concerning tires, it was clear he wasn't giving the tires a chance to warm at all. I can take my car out with cold tires and it spins at lighter throttle inputs but after the tires warm it hooks and goes, corners and stops smartly! If you're spinning through 3rd gear you have a problem for sure. The Boss in your avatar looks to be a 2010, 11, or 12. I'll bet you have Eagle F1 tires and not letting them warm...........................

It's a 2013. When I first got it It hooked up pretty damn good, then I started playing with it! First I added Super 44 Flowmasters, that helped, then I deleted the resonators helped some more, then I installed an off road h-pipe and it went ape s$@%^ crazy! Even with the factory headers which are pretty damn good! I have street and drag raced all my life so I know how to heat my tires and play with air pressures It still has the Z rated Pirelli's on it. I know I need some drag radials for it but I know once I do that, one thing will lead to another and I won't Know when to stop!Sorta like my radar detector habit! I also run the red track key which everyone on line says makes no difference, turns mine into an animal! I also run the factory ram air with a drop in K&N.

The factory tires that Ford put on ALL their vehicles are absolute ****. That's the first thing I change besides I/H/E/T

I used to run drag radials or M&H bias plys's on my car, I went from spinning right through 4th to hooking up into 2nd. I'd only get about 3000km MAX out of a set. It got expensive, but I was always ready to drop a gear on anyone and hook up, so you can't put a price on fun haha.

Anyways, I'm a big fan of the new Mustangs. I'd take a 350R over this one any day. The 15+ coyote motors are unreal for the amount of power it can hold.

I think the wheels needed to not have that chrome bezel around the edge. I'm also not a fan of the logo. The target is kind of sophomoric and not well executed to the degree the car has been designed. It looks like a cheesy aftermarket add on and not designed for the vehicle.

I love the color, interior and performance. The price point is a bit high considering how much these cars generally depreciate.

They put the P-Zero on the Mustang from the factory to give new owners a shot at not wrecking the thing the first month out. Pontiac did the same thing with the GTO. I only got 6k miles out of my rear set.

I'm very afraid, once again I find myself in total agreement with erickonphonix. I saw it at the Toronto Auto Show. I like the idea of it, colour is great, but I was like Meh at the execution.

This will limit desirability.................Auto Trans would have been better (sales -wise)...........BUT for the purist ,this is great!! Problem is, 475 HP with a 6 speed trans ,3.73 rear end with a LTD Slip. Alls its going to do is spin and spin and as drag racers say, spinning ain't winning.

“We know we're over 475 hp and are still going through the final tuning to try to push that,” says chief engineer Carl Widdman. A six-speed manual is the only transmission. Ford’s 10-speed automatic may have facilitated quicker acceleration, but Steve wouldn’t have cared, and neither should you. Active exhaust is standard.

Few under 40 know how to drive them. I taught me daughter how to drive an MT when I got her the Fiat but her boyfriend can't drive it.

Demand for stick is like .01 % of all new car requests. Even Ferrari and Lambo are going "stickless." So much for "Saving the Manual."

I haven't driven a PDK yet, if it's got a firm mechanical feel I'd probably got for one. I used to use my SMG on my BMW all the time just to keep it in the rev range I wanted. It wasn't that bad.

Try the PDK in a GTI or AUDI , its very good. You can't possibly shift that quick with a manual.

The pre 15 Coyote motors are pretty much the same.
