    Hey guys,

Just looking for some independent experiences/opinions. I'm wondering if LaserVeil actually works? And it seems like it would work in theory, but I've heard a few reputable people… Not reference it kindly, so I'm just wondering what your independent experiences are with it?

    Thanks!

www.rdforum.org: VEIL G5 Review/Test It has been tested before, the version 5 was found to be too thick to apply nicely and was very obvious, they released a thinned version that is supposed to be similar but easier to apply, though it may have less performance. The general result is that it isn't terribly effective against most modern guns at the typical distances they shoot in the wild. at really long ranges it can help especially against old guns, but really long shots are rare in the real world, some cars with a really low front profile like a corvette might have some impact, but not a lot. Newer guns are capable of getting speed readings off grills, bumpers, really any surface, so just coating the front plate and headlights still leaves a lot surfaces the gun can read, coating the entire front of the car isn't practical. It's generally pretty useless at anything under 1000 feet, which is the majority of laser shots in the wild. if it was a really effective measure, you can bet most of us on here would use it, but there are very few that use it, and most of them have jammers in addition to it, though being is that it can help the jammers cover better on vehicles with non ideal jammer head placement...

    Hard no.
You might as well just smear cow poop on the front of your vehicle. It will provide equal protection.

G4 was the best veil ever produced but still wasnt super effective. You would be better of spending that same amount of money on some used jammers, or saving up for the right set.

Only if they were also running a set of ALPs. Sorry, not surprised that Veil Guy was able to get a JTG on his own snake oil when no one else on the planet has been able to replicate his findings.

I would like to see the results in extreme distances. I have a friend with RD who was cloaked with an UL LR at 1200m (3,900ft). Such scenarios are common in Greece especially when travelling on new highways.

Can city slickers substitute dog poop instead of cow poop or will that impact efficacy?
