I was the biggest basher/whiner of the pro m upon release.

But the thing I have come to understand and fully appreciate. Radenso/no limits personal still responded to me and still treated me like everyone else. They delivered what they said they would. They could have acted like many other companies and vendors do and black listed me. But they didn’t.that says something huge about the character of these guys.

I still say u guys will get a great fw.

I watch your videos and have three question? Does 33.8 have the shortest radar detection out of the three KA-Bands? Is there only one company that make 33.8? Do all three KA bands have a short detection range for radar compared to K Band. Maybe a good 5 minute Friday video?

It depends on the circumstances. 35.5 is the one that gives the shorter detections compared to the other two.

    Longest to shortest detections ranges
    K > 33.8 > 34.7 > 35.5

Some models detect 33.8 better than 34.7 and vice versa. But for the most part that is the scale. IMO

Since Version 21 is what shows on the Radenso website, why bother running the update?

We should do a firmware Hunch.. Everyone chip in 10 bucks and guess when the firmware comes out. The closest to the actual release date gets the pot.

We did that once in college, it was my Quantum Mechanics professor and he wore the same pants every day (he also smelled like babypowder and ass). So at the beginning of the semester we did a poll (there was only 6 of us in the class) regarding when he will change his pants. I won since I said never and it was never, all 6 months he wore the same pants. But I digress.

Nope, never said that, you just jogged my memory and I felt like sharing a story.

    I vote for August 2018

Yes, September 2017 was the last update, but it only fixes a small specific thing... The last "real" update that was attributed to addressing K band filtering was 12 months ago. So, you weren't far off with what you felt.

Yea, I have stopped worrying about the update as the more I ask there is a update that makes it to the pro m and gets delayed because of a small bug. Now I know you would rather release a bug free release, but you released a bugged firmware to your flagship, but you want to have a bug free release before you work on the firmware the SE. Now I am not trying to complain as I am done doing that lol, I want to know why the statement of releasing a polished bug free firmware does not stand for the pro-m. I know you did not intentionally release buggy firmware, but I think you could release it to the SE if that could happen, my SE is desperate for an update.

I know - keep thinking that I should unfollow the Radenso forum. Maybe if I do, the update will be released <Grin>

As we have stated more than twice, we are working on it and it is coming soon. We will make a topic letting everyone know once it is announced.

No matter how anxious I am, I am thrilled you simply don't abandon your customers! I bought my RPSE on the basis of the testing reports I saw, but also because of the promised customer support. I, for one, am thrilled with my RPSE.

Will you still notify registered owners by email when the update is available?

The RPSE is no doubt a great detector, it just needs some polishing to get rid of the annoyances. It gets great detections for me and I have gotten great I/O saves as well. Hopefully this update doesn't handicap the performance. Lets see how it does when it comes out.
