    Morning,
I just picked up this baby last week and wanted to get some input on where to put them. I currently have a 5 head ALP I pulled off my last car. I can get some TX heads if necessary. Are some people running one regular head in the rear with one TX head? I tried to search, but not many of these cars around lol
    Thanks,
    Nick

No. I guess I should have made that clear...

I know he runs 1TX + 1reg so he might have some suggestions on whether to put the heads side by side or one above the other.

Although now that I look at the pictures closer your placement options are very limited in the rear. Yikes. Do you face DET guns?

Outstanding upgrade te37! I can't wait to see some nice videos in this beast.

My suggestion is below and requires upgrading to two TX heads. I wouldn't be too worried about the back. @mirage has a very similar rear location and tested perfect on everything. @hiddencam played around with a rear setup using his wing and it didn't yield good results. When he moved it back in the plate well it worked a lot better.

    Awesome car!

Here's my rear install that was JFG vs @erickonphoenix's DALA, Truspeed, & PL3 the other day.

If you know someone that does custom installs ... i would put them RX in the Reverse Lights --- Caveat ONLY IF I CAN PURCHASE REVERSE LIGHTS AT JUNKYARD FOR potential Future Sale

I did this on my 500SL w my LI install years ago.

Moved the Dual RX to just under the rear lip by Tag

But with The TX ... i can use them AGAIN !! .

Mine are in the tail lights hidden by a lip and protruding out but NOT NOTICEABLE !!

I worry bout that huge @ss surface for PTs on each side

But if it tests clean against the Drago then you're golden. W/o custom light install.

This is what I am thinking. Red boxes being standard heads and blue boxes being the new TX head. Not really sure if I want two regular heads or one regular one TX head on the rear. I am going to take another look to see if I can squeeze all three (2 regular and 1 TX) in the rear with the others. The rear sensors would be 27in from the ground and the front would be 25in from the ground. Can 6 (4 regular and 2 TX) sensors be run from a single ALP system?
    Thanks for the help,
    Nick

Yeah I did think about that on this car and the last. Just don't know how I could align them once they were in and then add the cost of each light (500$ lol)

So TRUE !! Once theyre installed in the lights ... thats it ... game over.

You dont get the convenience of tweaking sensors without pulling light assembly apart again.

Very painstaking on a schweet ride like her !!

Upon further scrutiny I noticed those reverse lights are going to be too much complication as they arr round and even that would reduce your stealth

Not yo mention they are LED which even further complicates things. !!

So your thinking one TX and one RX on the rear ??

    Definitely poses a problem

I am going to run all three in the back, two regular and one TX. I have about 21 inches to play with so that should be enough room.

I JUST REMEMBERED there is a RDF peep here that has what you need.

It is a license mount that mounts all 3 perfectly level for you. !!

He did it on his 3 d printer.

    @Vortex. @RadarScout
@Bossdad71 Do you remember who that was and what was the final result.
I do know its free for us though
