Has anyone used a Bluetooth Transmitter to pair with a Bluetooth Headset to obtain Alerts?

I want to buy the R3 versus the Escort products, but need to figure out an alternative bluetooth method to transfer alerts to my helmet.

Which comm system are you using? The Sena sm10 transmitter works well with that system.

UClear AMP Plus

Amazon has transmitters that take a 3.5MM plug from the R#.

A have a few friends who use the SM10 transmitter with their Sena's for RD's. I don't have a Sena myself, so no direct experience.

SM10 - Sena

And it will pair with other comm systems as well.

R3 on a 2015 GSA. Garmin Nav 5 slid all the way to the left to make space for the R3 on the right side. The detector is mounted inside a Puig touring windshield, and audio is fed into a Bluetooth transmitter to a Sena helmet headset. Works flawlessly.

I used to use a Blu Virtu B/T hub wired via 3.5mm jacks to the detector. The advantage of this was that the Blu Virtue could be hard wired to the bikes system, so no flat batteries to worry about.
Now I just use the JBV1 app and phone as my B/T transmitter.

That looks super sweet! Very interested in setting up something similar. Question though, what about water?

Phil -

That's a densely packed setup you have there.
What year is your Multi?
And what's the module mounted forward of your Garmin?

inquiring minds
