Yes I agree. My radar showed up with a broken cord, he said I could use my Magnum STi cord and it died in the first hour and wiped out my cord so I couldn’t use the Magnum STi either. He said to ship it back.

I agree. I had to pay $20 shipping one province away for a sun visor clip. The shipping was close to the cost of the clip. That’s my only beef. $20 minimum on anything less than $350.

It’s a business, and there are costs that have to be paid, understandable, but because of this policy, I look at all other options on small items.
Unfortunately, there are no other options at times.

Agreed. Canada Post, being the unionized garbage of an organization that it is, is also responsible for why it's stupid expensive to ship crap. I'd suggest that you get a Purolator business account (small biz) and get 40% off of domestic shipping and have Alex ship you stuff using your Purolator account.

Fedex and UPS have this discount too, but Purolator is still cheaper.

He has done so for me, for big purchases such as my ALP system. It's very kind of him; however, I was referring to shipping the odd sensor bracket, or whatever. Obviously he's not going to give me overnight shipping on a $30 item. In that case, I would suggest what I suggested. Sorry if I was unclear. I'm absolutely knackered, it's been a really long day.

No worries! I guess if I read Heywood's comment that would have made sense. I too tried to order an external LED off of him, but with the cost being $45 all in for a $15 item I just couldn't/can't afford nor justify it at the time. It would be nice to have, but I'm saving that order for when I bundle with something else to save on the shipping

I just ordered a Uniden R1 from Alex tonight. He's doing free shipping, Can/Post ground. When my tax refund comes in, I'll be getting an ALP dual with TX sensor for our new car. For now, looking forward to the R1. Just hope it really is RDD immune, or else I won't have it for very long.

I'm here to help if you guys have any concerns. Or email me directly for faster response :)

Regarding shipping, cost went up significantly since January. Cheapest small item will cost minimum $15 by Canada Post. Purolator will be anywhere between $20 - $35 depending on your delivery distance from BC. Rural area delivery costs even more.

As for sales tax, we are legally required to collect them, from 5% GST to max of 15% HST depending on your province.

As always, I appreciate your support.
