I’ve been really active on Waze for about two years and I finally hit Royalty level today.

I wonder how many points it takes in states like CA and NY to hit royalty status, since it's based on percentile by state.

I'm in the NY/CT area, been running Waze for years now and do about 25k a year. I got it in my 1st or 2nd year.

I’m royalty in NY with 164,000 points. I’m ranked 104,000. I don’t think it’s too hard considering I don’t drive a ton.

Thanks - I was just curious the difference between more populous states to reach Royalty. I think it was about 61k to get royalty here in CO.

I hit royalty in CA a few years ago. I work from home and fly about 100,000 a year, but I still tack on the miles when I do drive.

I’m pretty sure CA is dominated by the long haul truckers, driving north and south.

I'm in NYC and I got my royalty status at 36k points. But I didn't have an account so I lost it all when I changed phones. Now I got an account and it took me until 45k to get royalty last year.

Hmmm, looks like the Scoreboard display changed recently on mine.
Must have been an update.

Make sure you take your binoculars on the plane and log VASCAR for us while you're up there...

Likewise, I got mine in a year in NYC. However, one roundtrip drive to Florida did helped a lot :p
