Ok, I read the ZR4 thread just below.

I have a NIB sealed ZR3 I have never installed. Is it a waste to install now ?

Its a waste in Edmonton. It won't even detect the newer guns.

The ZR3's are definitely too outdated to work a lot of places these days, I'd ebay them and put the money towards some ALP's

    Thanks,

Did an ebay auction... it will start tonight.

It will go towards a Radenso Pro M for now. ALP would be nice but have 2 vehicles....

If driving in Cali and trying to save money
If you look hard you can find a Redline for $250
    Shut K band off
And buy an Alp dual for $750 to defend against what cali uses alot of
    Lidar

I'd honestly not use the ZR3, anywhere. DEFINITELY not in California either. California is predominantly Truspeed and Truspeed S. The Truspeed has an extremely narrow beam and will find plenty of PT's between ZR3 heads, and the Truspeed S's high pulse rate will be problematic too.
