I'm assuming this is just for Android as I did not see any update in the iOS app when I refreshed it?

I'm sorry, the update appears to be for Android only.
Were there issues with EL crashing on iOS during an alert, too?

To be honest I have not run EL in a while, but last I did there were no crashes during an alert.

It would crash when it would get an alert on Android, so I'm sure that was the only change. There was probably no need for one on iOS.

................................
I have been running the Redline along with my DSP NetRadar set-up and saw there was an Android update to Live, thought "what the heck,I'll try it again". I have never had success with either bluetooth module, I originally had the droid one and then got the dual droid/ios module running android app. They never connected properly, crashed, etc., so I gave up. The lockouts would have made the Redline so much quieter and if Live had worked for everyone from the beginning then the crowd source alerts might have actually been a hit instead of a failure IMO.

But now...I don't know if it is my newer phone (Moto G5) or if Escort has finally gotten the programming together but after trying Live again it has been working perfectly! It connects quickly and I have had no crashes and even saw a Live alert on the screen . The lockouts have been working and maybe the Live alerts "may" become useful. Not holding my breath but we will see.

I have started running EL in the background and I have had two saves recently. I also have been able to contribute some of my own alerts. It is an improvement.

The latest update on iOS version is 6 months old. I just got a Max Ci 360 installed on my car and the app, although works fine, it was a disappointment. It's not compatible with iPhone X screen size and lack some functionality such as the arrows and the detailed detection information on history. I hope Escort is working on that.
