Again today, lane swapping and indicating just as they cross the line. Time we voted for a party that will clean out the rot at NZTA. I see a bit of news about 4kmh limit, cops trying to justify it and the jerks at AA backing up the policy when others well known in the motoring industry saying it's the wrong target. AA kissing the butt of the dollar again, they are becoming a joke also. Every time a voting motorist gets a ticket for being a little over the limit it drags down the respect people have for traffic enforcement. Remember, cant have good policing without the public support and confidence, well why go to such effort to undermine it? 4k tax collectors for NZTA thats what, not really interested in getting the road toll down if it means less revenue!
Got mine from ebay and haven't had a problem with it at all.I'm gonna go hardwire for my R3 now. Wheres the best place to get it? can I just grab any off ebay or is it better to go through a local company?

If you don't care about a mute button, my advice is to go down to jaycar and get a 2-3m RJ12 cable and a couple of connectors. Set you back around $12-14. He'll almost certainly be using I/O or Lidar. Or having a snooze.Passed a highway patrol cop parked in the side of the road likely looking for speeders. Radar didnt go off at all which was kind of surprising, there were plenty cars on the road too. Maybe he was on break or just estimating the speed of cars by sight.
Also noticed a lot of cops in the city leave their radar off most of the time .
That's new to me. Every RJ plug I've used have to be crimped. Where'd you get them? You can just get the block of 10 for $2 that only require a terminal screwdriver for termination
Oh no not the plug its self, just for termination internally of the vehicle. A little bit of wire snipping and stripping and use terminal conectors to join onto your lines hahaHe'll almost certainly be using I/O or Lidar. Or having a snooze.

Happy New Year to all here on the side of the angels. Another year or minimising Police revenue ahead![]()
Oh yes. For your safety, you see....it may just be my luck, but 3/4 of detections were from moving police vehicles on passing lanes. Seems too consistent to be coincidence and this is not the first time I have noticed this...
