Frequent flyer on I87 and mostly identified their hiding spots. On this spot he is either running 34.7 C/O or I/O. There were several time that this guy is just there very quite. Snakin donuts or maybe doing paperworks. Well yesterday I finally discovered what he was doing when he is there very quite and not shooting 34.7,,,,,,,,,, he is playing JEDI with his LASER saber. Darn and I thought theses guys were not using it on I87.
Added bonus is that after passing the LEO....... he also shot a Ka 34.7 I/O.

What exit or MM? I used to think that they would not come down 87, but ALPs have confirmed as low Nyack, Sloatsburg and Newburg area! At first they were C/O 34.7 plus a touch of TruSpeed, but over the holidays, I had a late nite TruSpeed Only hit, Pitch Black just before the Newburg rest area SB. He was in the median shooting cars coming downhill! Didnt see him till I was on top of him....

I just posted a thread a few minutes earlier about an odd 34.3 alert I got this afternoon (after a week of driving with the Pro-M).
So I am not alone then!

Thanks for posting the laser encounter SixPackABS

Yes I experienced it twice yesterday. My setting is Ka filter off and Highway mode. MRCD off.

Coming from Newburgh to Jersey City I87. This is right after first wooded median. If you frequent this route,,,, you now that it is one of their favorite foxhole.
[doublepost=1518394382,1517779879][/doublepost]Was that a laser detection from scatter or one that was aimed on me?

Running Ka wide or narrow? Running wide may give 34.3 falses from vehicles like my Jeep. Running narrow will prevent this.

So it looks like the RP-M carried over the 34.3 issue from the RPSE. I wish Radenso would reply and clear up this and acknowledge the issue or state something that can explain the issue. I really think the detector is having issues "accurately" reading the signal and misreporting the signal, which kind of scares me as if there is a 34.7 signal being missreported as 34.3, then on Ka narrow, the signal would be muted.

Still waiting on the update for the RPSE, wish something would be said on the status as I would think a port would not take as long as it has after the RP-M firmware was published. Wish someone could state what is the status on it and if it is being worked on, or if that have moved on and will release it when they get back to the RPSE in the future, which would make sense to me as Radenso has more products to keep people happy with and the new model looks as though they will need to keep the new customers happy to grow the company further. Currently, I do not really want to upgrade to the RP-M as I do not see the benefits now as I don't have MRCD in my area.

I wish there were a moratorium on RP-M comments for a brief period. Any negative statement on the RP-M will stop the porting of ProSe FW.
It’s understandable. The SE has no future. The RP-M is the future.

Don't be chicken. I have done my own tests with my own guns and found that the K and Ka filters do not reduce distance for on or near on-axis signals and only reduced extreme off-axis detections by about 1 second or LESS. Some will argue that the 1 second is the difference between a ticket and no ticket, but my real world experience is that 99.999% of the time, that is not true. K and Ka filters quiet down the Radenso detectors without reducing distance. In fact, I have tests that show that running the K and Ka filters ON actually improved the distance, but within such a small amount that it is statistically insignificant.

I wanted to ask if you experienced on-off constant alerting when being shot at with Ka. With Ka filter I had alerts that would stop then alert then stop... do on and so forth. I am going to turn that setting on again today and will test it out. Does this also apply to the older SE firmware as well (US21)?

I only have experience with the new Pro M. I have not experienced any on/off alerting with K or Ka filters.

I think it might be due to the new firmware as they did work on the bands
