Hello again all!

We are releasing a new version (2.0.7 beta). We believe this version will contain all fixes necessary to move it to production and finally get our first production version out there (the last two betas had bugs we did not want to release)

If you would like to opt-in for this beta, you can access it here: Sign in - Google Accounts

Thank you Mike for leading the way for these code changes and thank you the general public for making these reports on https://yav1dev.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspa (just click the + sign on the left) as that is VERY helpful and allows us to best handle our time in developing YaV1. This release has the following changes from production (2.0.3):
* "Smart Dark" dark mode option to enable V1 display during non-muted alerts
* V1Connection native V1 sounds added * Spelling and grammar improvements
* Removed unsupported languages
* Warning prompt when attempting to import lockouts DB without lockouts enabled
* YAV-20 - Smart Dark V1 display fix when disabled
* YAV-21 Box muting re-implementation/fix
* YAV-22 - Improved European K band box lower range
* YAV-23 - Non-transparent backgrounds to fix display issues on Samsung devices

As mentioned previously, we are tracking all bug fixes, feature requests, and improvements through https://yav1dev.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspa so please submit any requests as needed.

Please let @mikedotd or I know if you have any questions or issues.

I've given up my Ya/V1 but major props to all of those keeping YaV1 alive/improving. If there ever is a V2 and it's compatible with YaV1/V2, I'll be back!

Mine is working perfectly so far, no more crashes and restarts.
To be fair, I haven't put a tremendous amount of miles on yet but with my older version 2.04b it was a pretty common occurrence, especially when many signals were hitting at once.

Great job!

Thanks for keeping this app alive! Looking forward to updates. The old YaV1 and my Samsung S7 did not play together well. This seems to be an improvement so far.

Posted from my SM-G930V using the RDF Mobile App!

Our next highest priority is to really get BT LE working with YaV1. The amount of work is just so intensive that we have not yet been able to do that. Will keep everyone updated as we can.

Excellent! That’d be great. Once you do that, we’ll all be able to use the (better) V1C LE and there will be no reason to get the older V1C anymore, simplifying and improving things for many of us. Thank you for your time and energy invested in making this improvement!

I run 2.0.7b. No complaints. Is there a compelling reason I should switch to something else? If so, is there a video from Vortex to show me how?

I tried V1Driver which was very good, but lacked what i liked about YaV1. I did like some of the snooze features too. Lots of protections for issues in this app.

I am trying JBV1 now which is more similar to YaV1, definitely more feature rich but i am still figuring out the bugs for me.

I may end up going back to YaV1.

I think the problem is that you want every other app to work the way YaV1 works. You should just use YaV1.

Well yes, i want any other app i try to work, and work the way i want it to. YaV1 and JBV1 are the closest to fit all my needs. Though it may require me upgrading my V1 since it does not have TMF and it seems to be overwhelming for some of these really sophisticated apps.

I downloaded and setup YaV1 while waiting for my V1 to come in, and ran it every day thereafter. It is a great app, and I was very hesitant to switch. Someone asked me about JBV1, however, and I agreed to try it out and let them know what I thought. That was in December, and I've never looked back. JBV1 does everything YaV1 does, and so much more. I found it extremely intuitive and easy to use, and it was a very easy transition from YaV1. I highly recommend checking it out!

The TMF upgrade is a no-brainer IMO. I'm amazed you've lasted this long without it! Is your upgrade $79 or $279?

I don't think it's the apps being overwhelmed by the lack of TMF. ;)
