@Deacon it's a Dinan exhaust, which is one of the more conservative ones. The snarl is coming from my equal length headers and track pipe, which lacks a resonator.

If I stay under 3000rpm, things are sedate. At 4000, good things start happening. By 6000 to 8500, the F1 wail really becomes pronounced.

Need more cowbell!!!

Never gets old... was riding around with one of my clients, in from Chicago, that’s never experienced a v10 and a tunnel. Only 3000 to 4000 rpm...I was afraid of traffic jamming up at the end of the tunnel, I mean, it is LA!

Unfortunately, the v10s are a minefield in the used market. The best ones rarely trade hands, which leaves mostly beat-to-sh1t examples in the used market.

We are just starting to see the v10s fall back into the hands of committed enthusiasts, with either the Capital or mechanical know how to bring these v10 up to date on deferred maintenance.

With that said, I’d be hard pressed to get rid of my 6speed v10 any time soon.

Lots of people use their horns in this tunnel, to the extent that it can become annoying. Fortunately, I almost never have my windows open when driving through here because it's almost always hot and the AC is on.
