Ran my new Max360 for a few days before K band drove me absolutely nuts going off every 5 minutes:argh:. After going the same route to and from work for 3 days it locked out any stationary sources but still went off all of the time. Finally just disabled K band and will turn it back on if I head out of the metro area into any smaller towns.

How do you have it configured and where did you get my Prom picture from?

What firmware do you have? Mine is quiet in auto mode with the 1.3/1.6 firmware. Do you have a bsm system on your car?

I reiterate the firmware question....but caution you updating to 1.6/1.3 due to a number of factors you will see on this forum. I still run 1.5/1.2 but it does let a number of BSM alerts through.

I second westwinds77's caution and raise it with the issues in 1.3/1.6 will most likely create regret.

I disabled K band on my M360 also. K band was extremely limited where I lived and traveled.
I ended up giving the M360 to my son in law.

No bsm system on my 2007 Honda Fit.

I just checked my firmware and its an 85x serial running 1.0, lol. Guess the guy I got it from did not do any firmware updates.

Have run across the threads discussing 1.3/1.6 and people actually rolling back to 1.5.

What firmware do you guys suggest upgrading to?

If you are disabling K anyway, 1.5 / 1.2 (same firmware, different detector) is the best. (Best Ka range, no BSM filtering). I have done testing with the different software versions and I have determined the "Main" doesn't need to be updated on the newer detectors. ("85" 360). I believe the 360c would be the same way.
V1.6/3 will dramatically reduce your K sensitivity but the new BSM filter can cause the detector to stop alerting. I think it's more risky with 1.6/1.3 than 1.5/1.2
