I got a remote and waterproof display for my Stalker Dual. I thought the operation was to separate the display from the counting unit but it doesn't appear to want to separate. These do separate right? According to the pics I've seen when I remove the screws the display pops off and once separated there is a VGA connection between the display and the counting unit. Then that remote display has a VGA cable that connects to the VGA port and I store the counting unit somewhere discreet. Do I have this sorted out right?

here like case in point. This is the back of a stock display...

Aight.... as is usually the case reaching out for external help angers the mechanical gods and they panic and give up the goods.

There's two screws at the back of the unit that run all the way through the counting unit and attached the display. Loosen those two and the plate pops off like magic.

Alright... NOW we're cooking with gas. At least this thread will remain in perpetuity in case anyone else is scratching their heads on how to swap displays

Its funny how there are no mentions anywhere about how to remove the display from the counting unit in the user manual. I eventually figured it out as well with my unit.

    Thanks for sharing, good info.

Yeah, it puzzled me for a bit. I got frustrated and posted the question here then sorted it out shortly afterward. Sometimes just walking away from a project resets your analytics when you come back to it.

Here's the final install for testing. Skosche mag mounts for the remote and some velcro for the display. Nice little concealed setup
