I have a similar commute - down by Newark you'll see local LEOs running K band but I've only had 2 confirmed encounters, but it's still there so better have it on to be safe. NYSP and NJSP use exclusively KA (34.7) band and since they mostly patrol the highways that is why you're seeing all KA Band on your commute.

Attached is the RDFGS, which is what I think you were looking for:

I go down route 21 into Newark and got hit by Belleville locals by K band twice. I know you don't go that way but a lot of those poor towns around Newark have old guns.

I have an ALP and have been hit 3 times - 1 save in about a year. All three on the GSP south on my way to work. It's rare but I do see it.

NJSP only use Ka, or the rare X band. But, I've seen local LEO's running K band on those roads you mentioned as well, so it's best to keep it on, just in case.

you can still get blinder jammers but no real reason to since they're the same price as ALP and won't jam the latest dragon guns.

I encountered a NYSP near the through neck bridge with a customer. He was blasting the airwaves with K band. Surprised the shot it off me as I thought K was gone from the state police also.

Does NJSP still use X Band on the NJ Turnpike, GSP, or i80? I'm curious because I haven't experienced X band on those roads in the past two years. I've only noticed Ka band and Lidar.

Have not seen X band on the Parkway or Turnpike. I do recall reports of X band in use by NJSP in the southern portions of the state. Below is a map of reported X band encounters in NJ by county. HTH.

I have confirmed encounters with the NJSP still using X band. It has been spotted in Hackettstown, Franklin Park and Mount Olive.
