    One can only hope.

    They still have the 4 or 5km/h over rule for the holiday season though.

    i thought that the 4km speed limit had already started as seen it somewhere? also noticed tonight that the new safety cameras appear to be turned on as got a k band alert tonight on the way home. 3 new cameras in dunedin that i have already user marked on my r3. can anyone in south is. confirm with a drive by of cameras near them? thankfully wont be on the roads much these holidays as decided to go o/seas as 1st holiday in 2 years.

    Was something on the news here tonight, QPS are going to be using cameras mounted on overpasses to catch people using their mobiles.

    They can't issue tickets if there's no patrols. I've just done 1000 km's Auckland to Nelson via Tauranga and Napier so was on most of the heavily Policed roads. Saw 3 or 4 cops, only one using radar miles behind me and had no saves.
    But travelling at 110 most of the time apart from overtaking, I'm constantly catching mini convoys of dreamers traveling at 15 - 20 under. Maybe the cops have given up?

    Was just thinking to myself I haven't seen many around here for a bit either. But plenty of plonkers idling along at 80-90k's, bumper to bumper, which probably has the same net result I guess.

    Ahhh, I didnt know they Dunedin ones were switched on. Pity I have sold both my R1 and R3, would have been good to test them out.
