    You have to get creative
Set up shipping with people in other countries but to know someone you may have to visit first

Your detector as well as travel problems are all about money which can be hard to come by in former eastern bloc

We'll help you anyway we can to find a solution to your access problem of 2 bottom barrel whistlers in your country

I would first do some research and see what threats you face. From what I can see the 265 and 268 are International units, you might have to check and see if their are any reviews on the web. Here in the USA Whistlers pretty much suck.

Nope. Cobra is like Whistler although Cobra did make the 9200BT which is a decent detector. None of the others. The problem with the cheap detectors is that they give you so little warning, sometimes you aren't warned until it's too late. That's why people are saying save your money.

I would look for an amazon or ebay vendor to ship a good detector internationally to you if you are able to access those platforms

i found radar detectors that some people in forums say it is assambled in bulgaria.....stelt.....
    • (X) Band: 10.475~10.575GHz
    • (K) Band: 23.950~24.300GHz
    • (Ka) Band: 33.400~36.000GHz
    • (L) Laser: all lasers
    • The range of models in "Stelth" is expanded with: (± 0,050Ghz в X Band) and (± 0,175Ghz в K Band)
this is what they say about it in official page

K band is extended by 50mhz

US detectors cut off at 24.250

I would go on a mission to verify K band radar in your country running above 24.250
    Id bet there isnt

And you could run a US detector with everything on and be good to go

    RADAR AUTOVISION DIGITAL MPH-BEE ІІI - Ka (33.8GHz ±100МHz) and in some place sayd : K 24.150GHz ±100MHz 33.1GHz ±100MHz
    SITRAFFIC ERS 400 – K band (24.125GHz)

Everything listed can be covered by a US radar detector except the 33.1 (33.0-33.2)
Our American Ka segs only go down to 33.392 or 33.4 in Ka wide

If you run into 33.0-33.2 youll need an international detector

Something tells me Genevo is the place to look
Heres a website link in Euros

€800 Euros is close to double what we pay in US dollars for a detector of the same caliber

    I AGREE WITH @Choose Life !!
GENEVO has been Manufacturing in Foreign Countries for 10 YEARS PLUS

Take a look at those detectors as they are made for your bands bandwidths !! :slick:

Stay far away from Whistler and Cobra unless ...
the Cobra is afore-mentioned DSP 9200 BT Cobra EQUIVALENT unit.

Some stuff we take for granted like a radar detector
The R3 is less than half a weekly paycheck for the average 2yr degree American

While the Genevo M will cost him almost 1600 Bulgaria Lev

The average wage is 800 Lev a month

So for the same detector we had to work 2.5 days for
He has to work 40 days (2 mos) assuming a 5 day work week for the same detector 16x as expensive to him as the Uniden R3
    Or a $6400 R3 to us

    Sorry man

D@mn I knew that ... NOW I FEEL REALLY BAD ....sigh

My Recruiters I hired in India were paid 5000 - $7000 a yr and even that I thought was Low.
Sometimes we as Americans get carried away ... and stop realizing there are other societies that are not as fortunate as us.

THANK YOU FOR BRINGING ME BACK DOWN TO REALITY @Choose Life

    ... sigh ..
@kriso .... My apologies ... Please research your options as they may be ideal for the Radar Situations in your Country ..

Or, if you live in a place like Switzerland, the US is like bargain-basement shopping. :p
That being said, I looked at the Stelth Radar Detector and the bands it can receive. I think you looked at something that was a misprint... The manual I saw listed the same frequencies that we have in the US. When I did a web search, I did find that X-band is alive and well in Bulgaria. That being the case I'd probably look at a Uniden R1/R3 or possibly a Valentine One (V1). The R1/R3 has great range on Ka. I'd probably lean towards a V1, though. My thinking for the V1 is purely based on the possibility that they could eventually start using Ku band, which isn't used here in the US but is used in some European countries. The R3 wouldn't detect Ku. I could easily see it being integrated into Bulgaria. Plus, it can scan the frequencies you choose when set up properly. The V1 works well with a Bluetooth dongle and a smart phone and you'd get great X-band reception, which appears to be your major radar band. I would make sure it's a newer one with both ESP (for Bluetooth/Phone) and with the newer version of Traffic Monitoring Filter (TMF2). Another bonus is that although radar detectors are worthless for police using laser guns, the stationary laser boxes that are showing up in Bulgaria would be something that the V1 would be able to alert to more easily than any other detector made.
