Was wondering if the ALP system would accept military encrypted flashdrives with privacy keys, or if there's a flashdrive that encrypts the privacy key? I want to be 100% protected if a bad cop tried to snoop in my vehicle (worst case scenario)

Trying to find a compatible and protective flash drive for the ALP as i know that the system is very specific to certain flash drives for it to accept files.

So i just watched the ALP Industry Flash Drive video,

in the most devastating situations, you can snap the flash drive in half if needed to.

    Has anyone used these?

I was told to have privacy key activated especially if i'm going through small towns in BC such as hope and chilliwack

    may be considering this option/flashdrive

No. You are referring either to hardware or software based encryption. There is no way the alp supports this. Period.

so if you use the flash drive key and then break the flash drive your system is useless?

Only if you don't have a backup of the license file someplace. basically copy the heck out of the licence file it generates and store it in a lot of places. then if you are stopped you break the flashdrive the system is nonoperational when the Leo's are looking at the vehicle. later on just put a new flash drive with the license file on it back into the CPU and it will work again.

Depends on where you are and how expertly you use the system versus idiots who just leave it activated and jamming the whole time.

The police cannot search a person's body if all they suspect is a highway traffic act violation here in Canada.

If it was a criminal offense and they have probable cause... Then yes.

The problem is the officer can say you were jamming, physically confirm the jammers are mounted, and then get you with obstruction of justice which is a criminal offense. The likely hood of that charge turning into a conviction is next to none.
