I use it, works pretty good ;-)
Seems like this thread has been dead for a bit. I'm really interested in knowing if there has still been continuing development of this app and if the community has gotten behind it yet.
Alright! Another V1 app to try out.
Have auto lockouts been added? I see 1.3 is out now. How wide is the frequency range of the lockouts and how does it handle multiple signals overlapping with a similar frequency? Does it autounlearn signals too?
I’m curious how this is better than V1Driver and would love to hear more from the “Speed Counter Measurement Expert” about what makes this app the best.
Is this app still in development or being supported?
The ProCypher website has no mention of it anywhere I could see, and according to his rdforum profile data, the user "ProCypherApps" user hasn't been logged in here for almost 6 months.
Sorry for the delayed response :-(
Yes, this app is still being actively maintained, do you have any questions or suggestions?
I have no words...
Any RDF users try this app yet?
I know that other V1 iOS apps that have an ACTIVE presence here have beta users through TestFlight. Is that an option for this app?
Any chance we can find out who the "Speed Counter Measurement Expert" who provided the stellar endorsement?
Good lord, how did this thread get unlocked? I thought this guy got ran out of town last year?
What version? After putting all these kids through college I have a mountain of Macs in a locker in the shop
Come on @Deacon we all know,
@ProcypherApps Put up a free beta and the folks here will give you a unbiased/professional assessment on where you app stands against all the other V1 apps.If you don't have the endorsement of these folks here your wasting your time in the CM Community.
That would be a good idea, or a temporary promotional period where it’s free, so we can evaluate what’s allegedly “the most sophisticated app available for your Valentine V1 Radar Locator!” We could learn what exactly is behind the ague references to “Exclusive Hotspot Alerts” as well. And we might be able to figure out what the famous “Speed Counter Measurement Expert” was talking about whenever and wherever he or she declared it “Hands down the best companion app for Valentine V1 Radar Detectors!” In Post #11 he said he would be open to a promotional period, but it never came.
Aside from the hamfisted marketing, it would also be nice to know what the story is behind this app. Just an individual who decided to challenge himself to make an app in a vacuum, I’m guessing? As long as it’s been out, it still doesn’t have any (or “enough”) ratings or reviews to display. And honestly, I’d rather not throw $15 at it to replace even temporarily what are otherwise known good options.
Wow, thanks, but I've got my hands full right now with a wife, a full-time job, an Android app, and two ~100k-mile cop cars that need some TLC. I just ordered a police console for the 2014, which I hope to get within a few weeks (they're built to order), and then the fun begins.
No worries guys, the app performs as stated.
Plus with this app you don't need to buy
Price:$69.00 plus shipping costs!
And it has a plethora of more features than the SAVVY!
That's awfully vague.
I think the question here is: why use this over the other available options?
You may want to check the forums here as other successful V1 developers are active here and work with users to make their apps better. Just some suggestions for you.
If you can, please expand on the plethora of more features.
No worries, I'm sure 'Speed Counter Measurement Expert' endorsements are worth more than forum member reviews and testimonials.
Personally with V1Driver $9.99 I wont need to buy
Price:$69.00 plus shipping costs!
V1 Radar Connect Pro $14.99
You don't need Savvy with V1Driver or JBV1
I a actually paid for this terrible app. It's terrible! Do not waste your money. Lockouts don't work. Nothing works. It seems completely half baked.
