    Hello kindred spirits.

Glad to join up with folks who hate speeding tickets as much as I do. In fact I have a pathological hatred for being taxed by the "authorities" every time I take a breath. Just sayin'.

What's funny is I haven't had a speeding ticket in over 25 years. Been an owner of V1 for many years, and thanks to Vortex Radar's outstanding You Tube educational videos I just upgraded to YaV1 with Mike Valentine's newest V1 ESP. And, I also just found Waze ... what a great program!! The only thing left to achieve 'full spectrum dominance' over the CT state mobile tax collectors is the ALP jammer system that I'm now aware of ... thanks again Vortex Radar. But that is somewhat down the line at this time ... gotta figure out how to free up some bigger bucks for that upgrade. :)

I'm driving a 2016 Mazda CX5 (wife's car). My work car is a 2007 Mazda 3 (my daughter left for me to finish paying off when she bought her own car .. (you dads out there know that drill), and when I want to fly solo I'm in a 1999 Porsche 996 Carrera.

I thank you all for being here and appreciate the hard work that maintaining this forum must entail. I hope to contribute meaningfully to the cause.

Again ... I thank you all for being here.

Welcome! I just moved out of CT but drove there for the last 15 years. They have been increasing Laser usage there so ALP may be helpful. Waze is usually pretty on point if you are driving during peak traffic times on major roadways, it's less helpful on the side streets or after dark which is where a good ALP setup and a solid radar detector comes in handy!
