    hey everyone,

I have my V1 setup with custom sweeps via the v1 connection app and am running v1 driver. Today I got a junk Ka alert (Ka then flashing J and noise). I thought Ka guard was disabled in euro mode with custom sweeps? I can't find any way to even change it in euro mode. Am I missing something

I've never seen a J-out on my V1, but it is due to a 33.8 Ka POP alert that the detector determines to be a false.

What sweeps are you running? Make sure you don't have a 33.8 sweep, as this is already covered by the forced Ka POP sweep in Euro mode. Running a 33.8 sweep will significantly increase the number of J-outs you get.

It doesn’t need to be Ka Guard to J out. Just has to figure out it’s a junk signal. You were alerted to it, which means it wasn’t filtered out before the alert.

I got one yesterday on my way home from work which beeped once and did that J sound and then one in my neighborhood that was constant till the guy was right behind me at a stop sign then J'd out. I believe both instances we're cobras because both times there was only one car present on the road the whole time. The guy who was behind me had his cobra pointed to the stars
