Segmentation will vary from unit to unit. Even if you get a minimal performing R1/R3 , it can still beat a Escort Redline most of the time. The Pioneer course is a very tough course, it has brought down some of our best detectors. We have even seen the Escort Redline perform horrible on this course.

Thanks a bunch. Sure is weird to keep seeing the V1 at the bottom of the pack.

Great testing guys. It looks like the segmentation will be a benefit to all, especially the upstate NY guys that need Seg 6.

It looks like this release is all enhancements, and that the ghosting issue will still be there for those that dare/need to run Ka Wide.

I’d hate to be in that car in the TX sun: baked and microwaved.

It was strangely hot on Sunday. 93-95 degrees in Waco.

Great job gentlemen! I think that I would like to see how the segmentation works on my R3, but am willing to believe that it may be better on Ka narrow. Are earlier FW versions maintained on Uniden's website so that owners can go back to an earlier version if they don't see an improvement in range?

Haven't you been keeping all the versions on your computer? I'm not sure if Uniden does or not, but if you want a particular version, let me know. I keep them all...lol.

Uniden does, which is helpful. It was a rhetorical question. I used a work computer and they've switched it out.

    Welcome to #Augtober

Lows have been 71-74° and highs around 90° in Charlotte
Best part has been humidity from 60-85% producing heat indexes near 100 during the day and 80° at night

Pretty much unheard of and record breaking
Our record max low was 68° and we only fell to 74° the other night

Which is higher than our usual October high

    Global warming at its finest

Can anyone comment if the 1.31FW testing achieved it's goals?

Were any issues found delaying the possible release today. I'm referring to post number 50 in this thread.

    Guess, I'm just impatient...F5, F5

Segmentation shows a gain in the real world, and some in testing. It was only tested on 1 course so far. Uniden had no comment on the reason of the delay. We are looking for by the end of October.
