That's awesome that someone is caring for the pups and the kitties!! Looks like the one dog is reading the sign on the van;)

This lol. This is the reason I stay away from other people's dogs especially if they are getting rid of puppies. I already have two and want more but know I can't give the time that they need to more than my 2. And in case you guys wonder what "HEY! My food bowl is empty" translates to in husky, it is this lol. Congrats on the rescues!

I take in abandoned and abused horses. You would not believe what people do to their horses. Some we just have to put down as they are so far gone.

very kind of you to take them in. some people can be cruel. makes a person wonder what happend to them that makes them so cold hearted.

Some folks just ran into financial hardships and couldn't feed them. Some just flat left and abandoned them. Some folks just are mean and beat them.
I save most of them and they go to good homes. I have plenty of pasture/water and feed them and doctor on them. Trust is a hard thing to earn from any animal who has been abused. But I gain their trust over time.

I'm very happy to see others helping animals. I have 2 dogs and am a volunteer at Marion county dog shelter. Some dogs take weeks to rehabilitate them so that they can be adopted. When the dogs first get to the shelter most of the dogs are devastated. Sometimes I have no respect for people.

If my dogs are starving you can bet I am as well, if money was so tight I couldn't afford kibble, my dogs would be sharing my dinner.

Bump for update on my two terrors; Generally herding dogs don't "chase." , they herd. Well , tell that to the skunk that got them BOTH two days ago. UGGH, found out that a combo of baking soda, peroxide and Dawn does work wonders in removing "most" of the smell........but damn dogs??? , what is it about skunks that makes you want to chase them and then get sprayed? I also hear that they will do it again even after having gotten sprayed once. I am so tired of skunk smell and what is it that make it so hard to get off clothes and dogs??
