Sadly, most European forums see either very little traffic, or are in languages I don't understand.
Any real life encounters in Europe with Radenso/Genevo products?

(I'm posting here, rather than the international forum, in hopes to get feedback specifically to Radenso/Genevo)

I am not to familiar with the Genevo sides of things, but I believe they are more popular over there as Genevo. The RPSE version of Genevo might be great as well, I think the frequencies are different, but I think it is still a rather nice detector. I think it is called the black edition or something like that.

Since genevo is Europe exclusive you are likely to find in other languages, but if you search YouTube you'll find quite a lot of videos of genevo products against all Europe threats. If you're interested in genevo search the forum for the radenso pro se-m. There's a lot going on with that rd at the moment.

I speak only from what I've seen here. But I doubt you can go wrong with genevo in Europe as Radenso makes solid radar detectors for the American market.

So should I wait a few more months for the firmware to be sorted out/a newer model to come out, or bite the bullet now?

Again, as i said in my previous post, search the forum, lots of data on this. Genevo radar detectors are mature enough. wait or not, it's your decision,

The pro se-m is made for the canadian market mostly. as i stated in my previous post, different frequencies, guns, threats, etc are encountered in europe.

Also consider the Escort Redline EX, as it is made to work international.

But yet again, search and read the forums, don't expect to get all your answers just by making a couple threads.

    You have my go! ;)

It's the best portable RD you can buy right now, when MRCD is a must.

Using the 1M on MRCT in Holland I must admit Genevo is really trying to improve.
I get very good and solid results and almost no falses on MRCT with other bands.
Since we do not use K band radar for speed enforcement I only use MRCT.

Gatso RT, different story, but since they are fixed positions only in Holland, not really an issue.

The Beta firmware we’re testing is Genevo. It states it right away when you power up the RD.
I’m not sure how different it is?
I think I listed the different Ka frequencies you can segment in Ka narrow. Ka wide adds 33.8 and you lose the segmenting ability since it scanning the whole band.
It has MRCD, MRCT, and Gatso right out of the box. Didn’t matter if it was the US2 or the beta SW24 FW we’re testing here.

Just remember Genevo and the Radenso Pro has been in use in Europe over TEN YEARS !!
German-designed Horn is its secret sauce,

"it just plain sniffs out the sneaky @ss LEOs, their tactics, and ambushes
    ".

That is the main reason I switched to my goto RPSE from Redline-Orig and V1 TMF2 Latest Greatest.
That and GPS features, Update by USB, dark Feature, excellent BSM Filtering.

The ONLY reason I switched positions w my R3 is that the Semi-Trucks CAS systems falsed on K Band. They NLR has fixed that on the RP-M 's ... and BETA RC-M Remote (not released yet). :)
And NLR will constantly tweak and perfect their detections, and CONTINUALLY stop even more False alerts.

Sit a spell .... Get to know us !! :)

You will become addicted to our "sport" our "hobby" !!!

    Hello Cooluser
You would like to get a feedback on Genevo used in Europe.
I drive in Switzerland. In Zurich there are a lot of Traffic Observers. Some old semi-stationary K Band outside of the city. And new MRCD.
I like the Genevo One M because there are not too many false alerts. MRCD is fine. More important for me is the ALP.
I hope this short statement will help you.
    kind regards
    LkC

Are in this forum other users from Switzerland?
