Sure did. Thanks
Good. Drive careful.
You should try contacting Whistler. There's no way that their tech support line is open now, but reach out to them tomorrow. I'll bet they've run into this a bunch of times. I've owned Whistlers in the past. While I agree with most here that currently Whistlers are junk and would also agree that maybe you should have investigated further before purchase because there are many better options, but whats done is done. We've all been there. So upgrading if available is definitely worth trying, don't give up.
He got it updated.
And ignored his Whistler negativity like a boss
Why would he do otherwise?
Maybe look into testing
I'm hopeful with the simple fact he got some help with his problem he will explore all the forum has to offer.
I agree. There's huge satisfaction in knowing you just helped somebody out. That's why I think most of us enjoy this so much. We've all been there at on time and probably got help from somebody else. It's just the right thing to do.
People rarely respond to "your a dumbshit for buying that POS". Rarely.
Right...it was Michael B.\Whistler who stated the C+ was meant to compete with the M4's at the time...not me. The C+ could hold its own on 34.7 and was extremely reactive. Everything else was pretty dismal. Whistler needs to get back in the game but they may be too far behind.
I think we'd all like to see another major player. It would be great if Whistler stepped up and came out with something worth buying. Competition is a beautiful thing.
I just saw your thread, well what I had to do was use another computer my desk top would not work with my CR39 so I had to use my laptop and it updated with no problem, also make sure you have a good usb data cable as well,.
This is the liveliest thread I've seen in this section in awhile
