So what it looks like, I will have to get a jumper to jump the 2 pins in the CPU and use the red wire going to switch, straight to power, I think that is what your saying....I am so sorry for being so stupid about this, but I am trying to learn...thank you sooo much for your response! I am not going to be able to look at it again till after this weekend...right now it is kind of a rats nest under dash and kick plate...and I dont mean to high jack this thread...
sorry mate i lost my jumper years ago but they can be purchased from local electronic hobby shops
i ended xrossing pins so they touch each other in the pic and yes run the power to a more discreet kill switch rather than the oversize 4 postion switch thats needs something like a crazy 20 mm hole for install ? ..also the mode button on the front of the CPU will becomes active... parking aid and defence mode

any ways the 905 is still always fun to install specially when you need to hear it clearly with no external speaker option unless you also DIY

My 905 was working fine when I had it removed from my old vehicle,
i did forget to mention when your inside the 905 cpu always check the screw in the volume dial for coming loose ...also check the power and earth solder joints

the power connection (circled in red ) has no brace or support... The 2 pins will flex back and forth when installing uninstalling plug .... thus can result in hair line cracks on the oppisite side between solder and board

I just now opened the CPU up again, I dont see any cracks with the naked eye but could be. I am trying to find an electronic shop to look at it, but dont know of any. (Radio Shacks are out of business)....But what I dont understand is why the little light comes on at switch when I start my truck, then goes out when I switch it to 1,2, or 3, and stays off when I go back to 0...Seems like it is getting some power, to light up switch, but no lights on CPU at all...I am thinking even if I jumpered the mode switch in the CPU it will not work, but I have not tried that yet....I have to find a jumper for it....

If trying to fix this problem and it doesn’t work out contact Blinder and let them know the problem and see if they’ll replace it for free. Back in the day I had blinders on my car and the wires got pinched and stripped I sent them to Blinder and they ship back brand new ones no charge. These were HP905’s. Customer service

Thanks for the reply radarrob, I just sent Blinder an email asking for suggestions also.. I am still looking for someone that can look at CPU in case it needs to be micro soldered....

Question; Will my stock parking assist affect my HP905 jammer. (I can turn off the stock parking assist)...I did get a jumper for the pins, probably this week going to find and cut wires to switch and put direct power to CPU...

when i mentioned to install the jumper i was refering to using this method to rule out a possible faulty switch issiue... Disconect the switch from the cpu dont cut wires

.also have you checked power supply to the cpu ?

Another stupid question; I haven't got under dash yet, but I thought the power was directly ran to switch, then switch wires are plugged into CPU. So it looks like I have to disconnect red wire from switch, and somehow connect it to CPU. Please correct me if I'm wrong. thanks so much for your help....

I just now installed the jumper, and went to truck and left the switch wire unhooked and plugged in power, then turned on truck, and still CPU does not turn on....switched the mode back and forth on the CPU also.....no luck.....I still haven't heard from Bonnie yet either...anyway I'm thinking it might be more than a switch problem...

SORRY TO HEAR

at least you can rule out the switch as you first thought !

reading though the last few comments sounds like you may of fried it by sending power down the 4 position switch wires ? im pretty sure these are low voltage + signal related wires....i curtanly wouldnt trust the colour code either reason it says power on the side of the CPU

some unanswered questions so i can now only suggest before installing another cpu to have your wiring checked by a qualified person to see if the wiring and truck are compatible

ps could you post a pic of your cpu internals top and bottom

Hear are pics of CPU, I certainly hope I haven't fried my CPU. The Best Buy guy that installed it seemed to know what he was doing, but maybe not... If you want different pics, I can do more I think....
