Looks like they're specifically targeting motorcyclists also. That, or it's just one of those roads that moto guys can't resist. I know we have a lot of the latter here, but if you get popped, it's gonna be a BAD one.

Both actually. It's a snaking road with 2 lanes each way coming out of the river valley 50kph PSL.

Almost every road in the city is ruler straight so hard to resist.

:p I had this happen to me many years ago in my RX7. Got stopped, ticketed. Sped off. A few minutes later I get another radar blast and here comes the same DPS trooper from behind.

When he walked up he said "I had a feeling your were going to do that. You know we can do this all day?"

    Ticketed me again.

Yeah Groat is basically an unofficial race track haha...

This is why you do a full lap down and then up at the PSL to check for police first. Rookies.

    --- Post updated ---

They've been really bad the last 2-3 years targeting bikes, setting up checkstops with Noise monitoring equipment for exhaust and ticketing for everything. Flush mounts, reflectors, excessive noise etc etc. I sold my bike earlier this year because it wasn't worth riding there anymore.

I'm not going to complain about anyone fining those douchebags with Harleys and no mufflers that you can hear 5 miles away if there's a big enough gang. The crotch rockets with semi loud exhaust don't bother me.

Let's not gloss over the logistics of this feat. Think about it, he got stopped for doing 112, then the officer needed time to walk up get credentials and have the usual chit chat, THEN walk back run his plate write the summons and walk back to him, give him his stuff and the follow up mini lecture. Then this happened 2 more times?! All in 10 minutes, here in Jersey we call that B.S or a miracle. There is no such thing as getting stopped here and being on your way again in UNDER 10 minutes! Lol. Those guys must be sprinting to and from their lightning fast computers, OR somebody's exaggerating.

    Lol. Takes talent.

I'd have to only guess he got tagged right before entering the bendy part (where it's 60). Then he made a loop because he was pissed and came firing out of the bendy part going the other way and for pulled over again. (they set up on both directions before but over never seen both at the same time).

Got pissed and rocketed off and weaved through traffic and got pulled over by a cruiser.

This is basically how you approach running Deals Gap, a.k.a. Tail of the Dragon here in my area. But we only have to go in at PSL, as once you turn around at the overlook, there's nowhere for them to come in ahead of you. So if it's clear all the way up, it's game on for the ride back down to the store.

I hear what you're saying. I've never had a ticket stop in under 10 mins. LEO's really do like to take their time and drag it out. But I used to like the challenge of making up the lost time once I was on my way again.

He didn't get pulled over 3x. He got pulled over once and the cop gave him 3 tickets for 3 separate offenses.

With that being said. There have been lots of crashes on that road.
