dont think Rx height matters
I think you're going to get some suggestions to lip mount the RX heads on the truck and drop that TX in the center. But I'll let the brainiacs chime in.
Did you really get JFG right and left on that setup but PT on the center?

Tx would be in same spot for both so I dont think it would matter vs the VPR guns
Yep, your photoshop skills are impressive.
thank you thank you...but as it weirdly updated my post up there.... I dont think it would matter for the VPR guns (as to Rx placement) because the Tx is in the same spot both times
Yes, here are my results. I have a problem withthe car or the left sensor its the 2nd time its not defennded. I sent it to Tom but he said it was OK.
Here is the front setup for the above.
Here is how she will test next.
well the PT at the RF makes sense since the Tx is hidden behind the wall?/pillar? of the grill ...need to somehow get it out of there and move it up front...not sure what your feelings are about putting holes in your car but...
Thanks, I hope I'm not hijacking here. I really don't want to lay them (RX) on the bumper. Do you really think under the tag would be worth a try. And maybe the center PT was a fluke?
and that makes me think the PT CR is because of the upper lip on top of the plate area too...need to move that out more

oh whoops....haha I didnt even realize this wasnt your thread...im sure a mod will move our stuff over tomorrow
The TX does protrude. Even more so with the new setup. And if it gets PT again I'll screw it in the center where you have it marked!
I dont think it protrudes enough in front (blocked by that pillar) and i dont think it protrudes enough in back (blocked by top lip above license plate area)
as for under the tag...yea I think that would be good for VPR guns but might leave a lot open for non-VPRs (its a wide car) - wait til tomorrow and have some advanced guys chime in
Thanks. Here is what I would like to do.
How did you mount the heads? Brackets? Double sided tape?
Distance from RX to far tips of tail lights?
This should give you an idea. The circle represents 30" beam pattern of the dragon @1000 feet.
think you might have to go with the Rx's on the trunk...real wide rear end
I was concerned about this as well when the Tx came out
Because it doesn't have a receiver
My installer used brackets
Great job @Patton250, I was glad to help! Now you can drive freely, without concern of paying a driving tax.
