Uniden already released firmware for R3 with Multaradar support:

Was anyone able to test this with US detector in EU ?

Radar Detectors - Uniden Support
Warning – These updates are NOT for Australia/New Zealand models.
  • MRCD / MRCT (Alert priority: Laser, MRCD, Ka, K, X)

I'm currently using Max International and there is no new fw with bsm filtering and its MRCD detection is poor.
Genevo is HUGELY overpriced.
Escort provides NO SUPPORT for international users (for their OVERPRICED international versions).
Btw on eBay u can get Genevo for about 500$

I drive in Switzerland with a Genevo One M. Is the Stinger VIP still to recommend or shall I take the Genevo Assist for a fix installed RD?

Works great in Europe countries where only Ka band guns are used! For example Iceland.

From what I know to be true, Radenso is the North American version of Genevo. Genevo is just set for the European marketplace.

As for the price difference, I do not know honestly.
While it's true that the Genevo One M and Radenso Pro M are the same hardware, Radenso has modified the firmware/software to make it more compatible to the US market.

To the OP, the Radenso Pro M is one of the three detectors I run here in the States (along with V1 and R1). The Pro M is really a great detector. It has good range on Ka (probably a close second to the Uniden R series), it's incredibly small, and the filtering is second to none. Because it's not an actual Genevo product even though they share the same hardware, I can't tell you that the One M will work best for you. However, based on my experience I would take a very close look at the One M and see if you can't get some more European feed back. Good luck with your hunt!

R3 would not be a good option if MRCD's are used in your area. As others have pointed out, the Radenso pro M is more oriented towards the US/Canada. Genovo One M is probably your best bet although it is a bit pricier than the Pro M.
