In case some of yall are unfamiliar with what a K40 Diffuser looks like, I spotted this today in a parking lot.

By the way, it was parked in a handicap spot.

It appeared to be an older version of the K40 with the sensor on the right side.

I didn't get too close since it would've been obvious.

Check out this site for for a K40 gallery:
    Lewes Delaware car audio video

I've noticed the EZ Pass Toll tags bear a striking resemblance.

If I see this car again, it'll be with a LIDAR :p

EDIT: I never noticed that they seem to share the same molding. The difference is that the K40s have two shiny areas where the sensors are located.

EDIT 2: Evidently, some EZ Pass holders also have the shiny areas. Link: Let's see pics of your Fastpass/EZpass transponder - Page 3 - ADVrider

I was thinking it was the EZ Pass as well, but sure enough, that link does look exactly like it!

I saw one of these in my work's parking lot. Not sure if it was a K40 or Ipass.

I see those quite a bit in IL, they are EZ pass systems. They too have the shiny areas.

Saw a K40 in the parking lot today. It had those sensors on the front and back. Will post pictures when I get home.

This is the EZ Pass (or whatever each state calls it). I cannot tell with the other one as part of it is blurred but the first pic does not look quite like the EZ Pass transponder.

Got a couple close up shots of a K40 install. Had these on the back and front of the vehicle.

I didn't notice any other sensors on the vehicle.

The sensor housing looks identical to the EZ Pass systems, and I never knew this.

Thanks for letting me know the similarities though.

The newer K40 sensors are housed differently.

It's too bad that they don't work. I love the idea of a license plate cover that incorporates jammer heads. Would also be great for rear installation since that's often a real PITA. I guess a license plate frame is too small and the heads would not be far enough apart to provide adequate coverage?

Doesn't v-bulletin have a plugin to archive old posts to stop this from happening?
