Found it Thx
You sounded like it's not a wise thing to do? Is it OK to lockout KA or not really?
It depends on the frequency, I have satellite dishes around 33.74x that alert every time that I pass it, I know it's there but it's no different than the drugstore alerting every time I pass it, I want it locked out in silent.

Anyway I could tell which frequency is just BS and which is a real threat

Cost/benefit analysis...I have one location that constantly falses to Ka 33.8 near the school pool parking lot where my son swims. That one's a given. Besides that one location, I've had maybe a half dozen Ka falses over the past five years or so; usually a leaky detector somewhere in my area. So, to me, a Ka "false" about once a year is something I can tolerate.

As an aside, I have less than a half dozen K falses stored in any of my detectors, more on my R3 than any other detector. My Pro-M I think I have 2, which are places I pass every day on my way to work. With the Pro-M, I could get away with no lockouts because I know where they are and, in general, it's very quiet with the right settings. So, lockouts being a personal comfort choice, my thought is I'd rather get a false every now and then over getting a ticket every now and then. Falses are "free" and tickets aren't, so imho, I'd never lock out Ka. But, your call based on what YOU prefer.

Read up on the brands of Ka radar guns and the normal frequencies they transmit, it is one way we know what segments to run on our detectors. Segments should get rid of most Ka falses for the most part, so if you only run the segments you need then anything you would want to lockout would be limited to begin with.

Anything around 34.7xx and 35.5xx are probably real, and even if they are not I would Never lock anything out around those frequencies. 33.8xx is a little more tricky as there is some real stuff there, it depends on the radars in your area, but most falses will probably be around that frequency. Almost every satellite antenna I have false is right in the 33.74x area, I have one that is on the end of my road so it sets if off every time I turn on my road to come home.

So like me, if you see the same frequency in the same spot and it is not a real radar, like my verified satellite dish, then why not lock it out? If you are that worried about it and don't mind an annoying false then don't do it. Ka falses will be few and even less that are able to be safely locked out but I like the option.

I would never use it to lockout a false from a leaky detector in another vehicle on the highway even if it was a known false signal because it won't be there next time anyway - unless your neighbor has one parked in his driveway that sets of your detector every time you come home.

So, they run Ka POP in the city I live in.
Why do you think this? Are you sure you've not just seeing brief 33.8 falses from leaky detectors or satellite dishes?

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor??

My assumption is that on the main drag through town I see a quick shot, shorter then I/O.

And Iknow they run the MPH and only one runs 33.8. This is local City cop. They have a hodge podge of different radars.
