So 2 questions - it looks like you're inside the car so is this someone you know, and did you slap them upside the head?
It was a customers car at work. Probably not the best idea to slap them lol :mmmhmm:

I have seen a couple interesting "setups" over the years.

Dang, I actually still have this one. Was my 1st rd, just hanging onto it. Only I had it mounted proper for years, until the suction cups were done then mounted directly on the dash. But it was flat and up higher in my jeep at the time. That's pretty bad, how do these idiots think that's good? It actually wasn't the worst unit, saved me a few times over the years. Got nailed with it a couple times too. One wasn't in a good mood felt like hauling, there was a k band sign that I ignored and got nailed big time. The other one, pretty sure he paced me. He said he got me after I passed him- I call bs on that, I slowed down before I got to him, and waited a long time after and got back on it. All of a sudden 80 in a 70 in fib land, there he was in my mirror.

Cobra owner's are bad though. Units mounted so poorly, driving like a pansy in the passing lane, in some pos car. I've been running on a shorter fuse with that. You're speeding too, pass and move over. I've been giving the finger to a decent amount of the cars I have to pass in the right lane. Sometimes they take the hint and move over, sometimes not. Makes me want to chuck a cd case at them or something. And escort wants to merge the 2 for their alerts. I don't use live but I'd have a hard time taking an alert seriously from a cobra user. Would it be a false, or them just being horrible and trying to mess with people?

One of the dealerships I go to, a couple people have cobras. One guy has a nice newer 2 door a5. Thought about saying something and to check out this forum, come to think of it, still probably should

seen a dude who velcro'd it to his dashboard... facing the driver front wheel. Level though.

Also had a customer come in for a oil change on his GT350 Mustang. His cobra (Blendmounted) pointing at a 20(?) degrees upwards, and point leftward. i offered radar detector mounting adjustment as Complementary

... Becuase it only takes like 8 seconds and i cringe every time i see a detector facing either the sky or the hood.

Except they drive anyway where from 5 under to 7 over limit, in some pos car, no cruise control, and never move out of the passing lane. Depending on traffic, all they do for me is give my breaks a workout trying to get around them on the right

Lol. Nope. Not mine. Mines high and tight above RVM.... Which arguably could have helped with that detection some.... ;)

Oh, and its level. Like perfectly... as in i used a bubble on it ... lol.
